Since making the most of my 4 month stay in the US is of utmost priority, I eagerly booked a roundtrip ticket to New York (via Newark) when I saw price is just $108.
We were caught speeding along the Interstate-95 somewhere but didn’t stop us. We were caught in a traffic jam along Interstate-85 but that also didn’t stop us. We want to see what Washington, DC has to offer.
Since we’re all looking to make the most of our US stay, we all agreed to do a daytrip to Norfolk, VA. The city of Norfolk is situated at the mouth of Chesapeake Bay and is around 3 hours drive from Wake Forest, NC.
I’m a One Tree Hill fan. So when I found out that Wilmington just 2 hours drive from our place in Wake Forest, I convinced my friends to go. So that fine, bright and sunny day we toured around Wilmington.
As if our feet is not hurting, we headed to another theme park in Orlando, the Universal Studios Florida. We visited the said theme park to make most of our time in the “Sunshine State”. On our way to the theme park, I was daydreaming when I saw this in the bright blue sky. “:-) Jesus Loves U”. What a positive start to our day!
It was July of 2008. I just arrived in this continent 2 days prior and I will travel 10 hours by land to reach what is dubbed as the “Happiest Place on Earth”. What a way to start my 4 month stay in this country?!
