Hong Kong 2012 (Part 4, Nan Lian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery)

Are you a fan of old architectures? Do you just wanna have a leisurely walk in park? Do you also want to have a last-minute shopping? I have the right destination for you! Well, if you’re in Hong Kong.

The place I’m talking about is very accessible via MRT. From our hotel we took the Green Line train to Diamond Hill station. From there it’s just a few minutes walk to the entrance of Nan Lian Garden. This Chinese classical garden is incorporated to the Chi Lin Nunnery and boast Tang Dynasty style architecture. My words would never be enough to describe what’s inside. Have a look for yourself:

Still not convinced eh?? Well, Diamond Hill’s biggest shopping mall, the Hollywood Plaza, is just around the corner. We did our last minute shopping here and we’re pretty satisfied with what we’ve found. Famous brands like Uniqlo and H&M are present.

I give this place a two thumbs up! 😉
